Bespoke Carpentry in Carmarthen
From town-centre townhouses to farmhouses in the Towy valley, Carmarthen homes are full of spaces that standard furniture does not fit. We build made-to-measure wardrobes, storage and joinery to suit them.
Craftsmanship for Carmarthen and the Towy Valley
Carmarthen is reached from our Neath Port Talbot base by following the M4 to its end at Pont Abraham and continuing along the A48. It marks the western edge of the area we cover.
LM Carpentry is a one-man business. Leigh Morgan, NVQ Level 3 qualified with more than 12 years in the trade, designs, builds and fits every project himself.
That matters in older and rural properties, where no two walls or openings are alike and a made-to-measure approach is the only one that works.
Built Around the Way Carmarthen Homes Are Made
As one of the oldest towns in Wales, Carmarthen has a wider mix of property than most.
Period Townhouses
The Georgian and Victorian houses near the town centre have high ceilings, deep alcoves and original staircases. Alcove cupboards, bookcases and an oak staircase refurbishment respect their character.
Estates in Johnstown and Llangunnor
Family homes on the edges of town benefit most from fitted wardrobes, under stairs storage and a media wall in the living room.
Cottages and Farmhouses
In the villages around Carmarthen, thick stone walls, low ceilings and sloping floors defeat flat-pack furniture. Bespoke storage is measured and made for the exact opening.
